Policy on Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination enacted to establish a safe complaint channel and fair resolution procedure
The Executive Committee of our Association enacted the Policy on Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination (the "Policy") on 20 March 2020 to establish a safe complaint channel and fair resolution procedure in relation to complaints on harassment, abuse and discrimination ("HAD"). It is explicitly stated in the Policy that our Association has zero tolerance towards any kind of HAD, and encourages and supports any aggrieved or concerned person to raise a complaint in line with the Policy.
Under the Policy, any person or body may lodge a complaint against any alleged incident of HAD to the Chairperson of the Anti-Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination Committee. If the person deems it unsafe to lodge such complaint to the Anti-Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination Committee, he or she or they can lodge it directly to the President of our Association.
The Policy also allows one to directly lodge a complaint to the International Quidditch Association (the "IQA") if one deems it unsafe to lodge a complaint to the Anti-Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination Committee or the President of our Association, but all provisions in relation to the IQA will only take effect upon consultation with the IQA.
The Executive Committee of our Association has appointed the following persons to the Anti-Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination Committee:
Chairperson - Horace WAI Hoi Ching ([email protected])
Members - Joza KOT ([email protected]), Sidharth SRIRAM DHARMAPADAM ([email protected])
The term of office of the current Anti-Harassment, Abuse and Discrimination Committee will end on 14 August 2020.
