It is with great regret to announce that the website of our Association has been temporarily brought down due to financial difficulties. Please visit our Facebook page, HK Quidditch, for updates of our Association in the future.
Our Association has been in debt since the start of the 2019-2020 Season. Due to the unfortunate social circumstances in Hong Kong in 2019 and the subsequent coronavirus pandemic, our Association has not been able to obtain sufficient income to improve our financial situation. Particularly, expected revenue from providing quidditch teaching services and sale of World Cup merchandise did not happen. Considering that there is no clear path to the end of this pandemic and thus there might not be any quidditch activities in the foreseeable future, our Association has made the difficult decision to temporarily bring down our website.
Our Association will launch a fundraising campaign soon and we hope to have your support.
